Want a remedy for those winter blues? Here’s one that works very well for lots of folks: just curl up in a cozy corner with a hot beverage and a good novel.
And to help you get your blues therapy underway, the Friends of the Roeliff Jansen Community Library is holding its first All Fiction Book Sale, February 17th through the 20th, during regular library hours (Thurs. 10-8; Fri 12-7; Sat. and Sun. 10-4.) The sale will be conducted in the Community Room of the new new building, located at 9091 Rte. 22 in Copake, approximately 1/4 mile south of the traffic light in Hillsdale.
For sale will be tables, carts and racks of hard cover, trade and mass-produced fiction across all genres. To make shopping simple, all categories will be sorted alphabetically. Bargain hunters will be especially pleased as most books are priced at $2.00, and all will be offered at half-price after noon on Sunday.
Note that this is a fiction only sale; there is no early bird or preview.
If it snows, please telephone the library at 518-325-4101 to make sure it is open. For more information about the All Fiction Book Sale, please call Sally Laing, President of the Friends, at 518-325-3384.
