On the west side of Rt. 22 the Roeliff Jansen Park has 160 acres of beautiful farmed fields, bordered by the former rail bed of the Harlem Line, soon to be part of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. Take a hike through the fields and explore the future Rail Trail. A representative will be on hand to answer questions about the Rail Trail and the grant that was recently awarded to fund the engineering work needed to create the blueprint for the work necessary to establish the trail from Copake Falls to the hamlet of Hillsdale.
Meet at the kiosk by the parking lot on the east side. Wear foot gear that can get muddy.
