Assemble at 9:00 am in the parking area at the corner of Rt.7 and Lakeview Rd.
Susan Scheck will be leading a duck walk at Copake Lake. Walkers will be observing ducks in the lake from that vantage point and then moving around the lake on foot or by car to see more. We often get as many as 12 different ducks, loons and grebes as well as a good chance for a bald eagle, great blue heron, kingfisher,etc.
It can be cold with stiff winds coming across the lake, so dress accordingly. Also, of course, bring binoculars and scopes.
