GRILLSDALE 2017

The SHIRE 935 team is hard at work building on the success of last year to make GRILLSDALE 2017 bigger and better.  A few new well-known chefs, such as Jeremy Stanton of Meat Market/Fire Roasted Catering and Chef Kouri Killmerier of The People’s Pub will join in the grilling. There will be a few new beers, new cider, and new vegetarian options highlight the upgrades to this year’s lineup – all local. But the success of the 2016 speaks for itself:  the event was sold out, in its first year –  a rare feat for any new food and beverage event of this magnitude –  thanks Hillsdale and beyond!!  Clearly, there is demand for what GRILLSDALE delivers – a magical night under the stars in Roe Jan Park, celebrating friends and family while enjoying great music and everything else that our region produces. For live music, this year we are thrilled to have The Wayside Drifters from Ancram, The Lucky 5 from Great Barrington and Sittin’ Plush from Ancramdale performing on the big Herrington’s truck-stage.

Celebrating its 2nd year as the most tantalizing evening of the summer event scene, GRILLSDALE continues to proudly spotlight the bounty of Columbia County, The Berkshires and Dutchess County. Featuring grilled small plates from top restaurants, chefs and purveyors from the area. Set at the gracious, sprawling Roeliff Jansen Park, guests can raise a glass of wine or a hyper-local brew, while watching the sun set over the Skutt Hill. If history continues to repeat itself, GRILLSDALE is poised for a sellout, so grab your tickets quickly! The event is on Saturday, August 26th, 6:30 pm – 11pm at the Hilltop Barn at Roeliff Jansen Park, 4190 Rt 22.
