Natural Resources Committee
The mission of the Natural Resources Subcommittee is to review those parts of the Hillsdale Comprehensive Plan and local laws that pertain to Hillsdale’s natural resources, and develop recommendations for revisions that will more effectively protect those resources and are compatible with economic and cultural objectives of the town. Our review covers provisions relevant to air quality, surface water and groundwater quality and quantity, soils, and wetlands, as well as plants, animals, and habitats of conservation concern.

Aquifer Study Information
You can access the recently completed Aquifer Study at this link below. This was achieved through the work of the Natural Resources Committee, Gretchen Stevens in particular. The Study was funded by grants from Hudson Vallen Greenway, Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and the Town of Hillsdale.
