Now that the Town of Hillsdale has acquired the historic Hillsdale Public Library building from the Roe Jan Community Library, work will soon get underway to renovate the building and make it a functional, 21st-century Town Hall.   Working with Architecture Bureau of Chatham, NY, the renovation process will take several months to complete.  The Town is thrilled to assume ownership of this remarkable building and expects to relocate all its offices to this town landmark in Fall 2011.

The Town Board will take up the matter of possible uses for the existing Town Hall at a later date.
