The Antiques Roe Jan Show with Mike Fallon

Sunday, October 14that 2 pm

Inspired by the Antiques Road Show, the RJHS invites you to bring your favorite antiques to the Roe Jan museum to have them appraised by local auction expert Mike Fallon for a nominal fee of $10 (for appraisal of up to 3 items). The Fallon family owns and operates Copake Auction Inc., the longest running auction house in Columbia County, NY. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the programs and outreach of the Roe Jan Historical Society.

Founded in 1974, the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society serves the towns of Ancram, Copake, Gallatin, Hillsdale and Taghkanic. Through publications, ongoing research, a speaker series, and a multimedia archive, the Society documents and conserves local history – too easily lost. Its mission is to bring recognition to the stories, skills, and traditions of local folks, past and present.

The presentation is at the Roeliff Jansen Museum on Route 344 and Miles Road, a short distance off NY Route 22 in the historic hamlet of Copake Falls, New York. Visit for more information.
