Lazarus Family Tech Labs Classes Return

The Roeliff Jansen Community Library’s free, hands-on technology coaching program, Lazarus Family Tech Labs, returns with a 3 class series beginning Sunday, June 2 at 11:30am.

  • Sunday, June 2 at 11:30 – Excel for Beginners: The basics of Microsoft Excel, including calculations, setting up budgets and creating charts will be covered.
  • Sunday, June 23 at 11:30am – iPhone & Smartphone photography: Learn tips and tricks on taking pictures with your Smartphone (emphasis on iPhone). Find out about hidden features.
  • Sunday, June 30 at 11:30 am – Downloading Books from the Library: Learn to use Overdrive and Libby to check out e-books and audio books, and download books to your phone or tablet for free from your library.

Join as many classes as you wish.  Classes are free.   Advance registration is required.  Sign-up in person at the library or by calling 518-325-4101. Please bring your own device, or let us know if you will be using the library’s computer.

Instructor Pam Doran has taught Lazarus classes at Roe Jan since 2017.  Ms. Doran has been a free lance IT consultant and educator for 20 years.
