National Voter Registration Day at Library

September 24, 2019@10:00 am-5:00 pm

Ensure that your voice is heard by registering to vote at Roeliff Jansen Community Library on Tuesday, September 24, from 10 AM – 5 PM.

With election season right around the corner, now is the time to register to vote. On September 24, National Voter Registration Day, volunteers will be available at the Roeliff Jansen Community Library to help register new voters in Columbia County.

Applications for absentee ballots will also be available. Beginning this year, 2019, New York State residents can also participate in early voting, giving voters a greater opportunity to make their voices heard.  Applications must be postmarked by October 11 for the 2019 general election. Early voting takes place from October 26 through November 3. Signing up is quick, easy, and we will even supply the postage!

Roeliff Jansen Community Library, which is chartered to serve Ancram, Copake and Hillsdale, is located at 9091 Route 22, approximately one mile south of the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 22 and 23. For information on hours and events, call 518 325-4101 or visit the library’s website at http://www.roejanlibrary.org and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/roejanlibrary.
