An exhibition of landscape paintings by Peter Nicholas Fritsch will be held from October 5 – December 16, 2019, in Burke Hall Gallery, Church of St. John in the Wilderness, Copake Falls. Peter Nicholas Fritsch, known as “Nick,” studied painting at the School of Visual Arts, NYC. His paintings, in the tradition of American realism, reflect an interest in the mystical qualities of night evoking a quiet sense of place, that of the town of Copake, NY.

The Church of St. John in the Wilderness (Episcopal) is in Copake Falls, New York, on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. The Rev. John P. Thompson is Rector. The church has 70 members and serves the Roe Jan region. The church is located at 261 State Route 344 in Copake Falls, on the road to Bash Bish Falls.
