DESCRIPTION:Hillsdale Town employees return to their normally scheduled hours on Monday\, July 6. A link to the Town Hall directory with scheduled hours and employee contact information is provided below.\n \nWhen working in or visiting Town Hall\, please follow these rules:\n\nTown Hall is open to the public by appointment only. Do not come to Town Hall without an appointment.\nEmployees and visitors are required to wear a face covering. Masks are available if you arrive without one. If you are not able to wear a mask\, please conduct your business virtually.\nWhen you arrive at Town Hall\, the doors will be locked. Call the person you are scheduled to see to announce your arrival or knock on the front door.\nMaintain mandatory 6-foot social distance.\nAll employees and visitors to Town buildings will fill out a daily health- screening questionnaire. All visitors must also log in with contact information for contact tracing. Questionnaires and log in forms are available at the entrance.\nStay home or go home if you think you have been exposed to someone with COVID 19 or have any possible symptoms – fever over 100.4\, cough\, chills\, muscle pain\, sore throat\, loss of taste or smell\, or shortness of breath.\nShared desks and equipment will be sanitized after each use by the previous user and before each use by the new user.\nCleaning and sanitizing of common areas and restrooms will be completed regularly.\nHand sanitizer is available in all common areas.\nThe restroom is closed to the public.\nPlexiglass shields have been installed to protect staff.\nTown meetings will be held remotely through August 1.\n\nTown Directory

SUMMARY:Free Food Distribution Event
DESCRIPTION:On August 31 from 10 am – 12 noon at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham a Free Food Distribution Event will be co-sponsored by Catholic Charities and the Regional Food Bank in Latham in collaboration with Catholic Charities’ Mobile OutReach Vehicle Extension (MOVE) and the Chatham\, Ghent\, and Valatie food pantries. As at the previous event in May\, the public is welcome with no income limits. In addition to non-perishable foods and fresh fruits and vegetables\, interagency directories will be given away so that individuals can be informed to meet future needs. Social distancing and wearing masks will be expected of walkers. Volunteers will place food directly into the trunks of vehicles as they arrive. Please note Catholic Charities’ Emergency Assistance Fund is available to assist with lost income due to COVID-19.
