Stone Soup, Eclectic Jazz at Roe Jan Library

Stone Soup, a locally based, eclectic, contemporary, jazz-centered trio (guitar, bass, and drums) will appear at Roe Jan Library on Saturday, July 20 at 5 pm. The group plays plays music spanning the musical genres of funk, jazz-rock fusion, American standards and original compositions.

Paul Trapanese, known as a virtuoso on the guitar, is considered to be one of the best guitarists in Columbia County, and beyond. He continues to raise the bar at every performance. Eric Miller, bass, and Steve Collins, drums, combine their years of experience playing across a multitude of musical situations to create the perfect base for Paul’s improvisations. The trio creates a very tight sensitive experience. They bring nationwide experience from San Francisco, Santa Fe, New York City, and many points in between.

This concert is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Greene County Council on the Arts.
