Adopting a zero-waste or voluntary simplicity lifestyle will not only help the environment by taking waste prevention to the max, but it can also make you feel good. Simple living enables you to focus on experiences rather than things. Additionally, choosing to not purchase an item (by buying used or going without) saves all of the energy that goes into producing that item in the first place. This FREE Zoom workshop will look at strategies and tips individuals and families can adopt to reduce their waste output by cultivating more fulfilling and mindful lifestyles that help protect the planet. This event is being presented by Theresa Mayhew, Resource Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties.
