The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Hillsdale will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 7:30 PM at the Hillsdale Town Hall to consider an application by Gloria Kemp, Margaret Rosenthaler and the Harlemville Rural Cemetry for an area variance in order to do a lot line adjustment on properties at 1124 County Route 21 and Harlemville Rural Cemetery. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Public Notice

A Public Hearing will be held before the Hillsdale Planning Board upon the application of Ellen Zaroff, represented by Dan Russell, concerning a property at 6634 Lockwood Road, Tax ID #134.-1-19. The application is filed for a minor subdivision. The public hearing will take place at 7 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hillsdale Town Hall. At this time and place, any person determing to be heard may be present.

  • Lot Line Adjustment: Gloria Kemp and Margaret Rosenthaler at 1124 County Route 24 Tax ID #104.-1-2.200 would like to donate .466 of their 3.08 acre property to Harlemville Cemetery

An “A Cappella Afternoon” with Berkshire Hillsmen and Taconic Hills Select Choir

The Berkshire Hillsmen will be joined by students from Taconic Hills High School Select Choir in a concert on Sunday, March 3 at 4 pm at the Roe Jan Library.

The Berkshire Hillsmen is a men’s a cappella barbershop chorus.  Founded in 1957, their members come from New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

The Taconic Hills Select Choir consists of students who are in grades 10-12 at Taconic Hills. They perform throughout the school year at assemblies, school concerts, churches, nursing homes, and at varying venues throughout Columbia County. They will also be performing March 21st, 2019 at the Empire State Plaza.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Greene County Council on the Arts.
