Local, award-winning children’s science author, Seymour Simon, will present a multi-media event at Roe Jan Library on August 17 at 2pm. The program will feature Simon’s new book, DESTINATION: MOON, which tells the thrilling story of America’s race to be the first to safely land humans on the moon. All children will receive a free copy of the book, signed by the author.
This program marks the end of Roe Jan’s Summer Reading Program – Out of This World Events for Kids. Kids should be sure to bring their reading logs and turn them in for a prize!
