On Saturday June 22 at 4pm, at the library, members of the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society will present an illustrated talk focusing on the correspondence and original poetry that this remarkable Hillsdale resident sent to his friends and family from numerous posts and battlegrounds throughout the Civil War. An exhibit of Major Collin’s uniform, letters and related artifacts are currently on view at the library and will remain through the end of June.
