The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Hillsdale will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 7:30 PM at the Hillsdale Town Hall to consider an application by Gloria Kemp, Margaret Rosenthaler and the Harlemville Rural Cemetry for an area variance in order to do a lot line adjustment on properties at 1124 County Route 21 and Harlemville Rural Cemetery. All interested parties are invited to attend.

A Public Hearing will be held before the Hillsdale Planning Board upon the application of Ellen Zaroff, represented by Dan Russell, concerning a property at 6634 Lockwood Road, Tax ID #134.-1-19. The application is filed for a minor subdivision. The public hearing will take place at 7 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hillsdale Town Hall. At this time and place, any person determing to be heard may be present.

  • Lot Line Adjustment: Gloria Kemp and Margaret Rosenthaler at 1124 County Route 24 Tax ID #104.-1-2.200 would like to donate .466 of their 3.08 acre property to Harlemville Cemetery

Workshop at Library: An Introduction to Storytelling

Everyone has a story to tell! Come to this workshop and learn to transform your personal experiences into engaging, well organized, and memorable stories. Using Ancram Opera House’s REAL PEOPLE REAL STORIES approach to storytelling, workshop leader Paul Ricciardi (Co-Director of Ancram Opera House) will guide you in exercises you can use to create great stories! You will be invited to pitch your stories for the July 27 event: REAL PEOPLE REAL STORIES at the Ancram Opera House. Paul Ricciardi is the co-artistic director of the Ancram Opera House and an award-winning teacher, actor, director and voice/speech/dialect coach. He is an associate professor at the City University of New York/Kingsborough CC where he teaches voice and acting. He received the 2018 Kennedy Center National Teaching Artist Award. Called “The Gold Medallion”, it is considered one of the great honors in theatre education.
