Public Meeting to Discuss Hamlet Park Renovation: Residents of Hillsdale are invited to a public meeting Saturday, Oct. 24 to learn about plans to reimagine and renovate the town’s Hamlet Park. The session will be held from 2 to 4 pm in Hilltop Barn at Roe Jan Park, which is one mile south of the hamlet on Route 22.   At the meeting, which will take place rain or shine, residents will participate in discussions about what types of activities, amenities, landscaping and other features they would like to see in Hamlet Park, which is located just southwest of the traffic light at the Route 22-23 intersection.    The session will be led by Chazen Cos., a landscape design and engineering firm hired by the town to come up with renovation plans. The talks at the public meeting, combined with results from a recent survey of residents, will help Chazen formulate a master plan that is expected to be ready by year’s end.
