Dance-inspired piano music by Granados and Satie, love-arias from Handel operas, contrapuntal voices creating harmony when they cross the aisle by Honneger; What do these have in common?
On February 10, 2019 at 3 pm at Church of St. John in the Wilderness in Copake Falls these pieces will be expanded into exciting new textures from their original instrumentation when arranged by the five players of Winds in the Wilderness Ensemble. There will also be solos on the program, including a performance on the Indian sarod and, as always, jazz.
